Thomas “Tommy” Wayne Hall, age 70 of Estill Springs, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Harvey, Illinois on January 7, 1951 to the late Paul Leonard Hall and Doris Christine (Rollins) Tate. He was a 1969 graduate of Franklin County High School and attended Motlow State Community College. In the 1980’s, Tommy was employed as a manager with E.O.N. Inc., Dairy Queen in Kotzebue, Alaska. While living in Alaska, he was a member of the Lions Club. From 1993-2013, he was employed as a carpenter with ATA at Arnold Air Force Base and was a member of Carpenter Local 74 out of Chattanooga. He also was a steward for the carpenters at the base. After retiring from the base, Tommy enjoyed woodworking and spending time on the farm building barns, sheds, and fences, especially the farm office known as the “Dew Drop-In.” He loved to socialize and enjoyed having gatherings with family and friends and listening to music, as well as loving on the pups. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his siblings, Beverly Bonta Gaines, and Ricky Dale Hall. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Pamela St. Clair of Estill Springs; son, Tommy Joe Hall of Estill Springs; daughter-in-law, Terri Hall; step-son, Garry “Dog” (Susan) Sudberry of Tullahoma; granddaughters, Jordan Renee Hall of Knoxville, and Morgan Jo Hall of Estill Springs; step-grandson, Scotty (Amber) Sudberry of Lynchburg; sister, Paulette (Dan) Davis of Rossville, Georgia; step-mother, Deola Hall of Decherd; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Pastor Matt Hastings officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
