Thomas “Tom” Lynn Underwood, 87, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Underwood lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Isbell Church of Christ. He was retired from AT&T with 35 years of service.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be Friday, 12:30 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with George Hutto officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Helen Uptain Underwood; daughters, Judy (Raymond) Horton and Sandra (Kenneth) James; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Mary Massey and Verna Rae McColluch; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Addie Bailey Underwood; son, Dwight Lee Underwood; sister, Charlene Lacey; and brother, Bobby Lee Underwood.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, will be directing.
