Thomas Russell White, 63, of Priceville, died Tuesday February 10, 2015.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Ninth Street United Methodist Church. His memorial service will follow at the church. A private burial service was held. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Heathcock and Jeff Sellers.
Mr. White is preceded in death by his father, William Thomas White. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Sandusky White; daughter, Emily White Hulsey (Marc) and son, William Russell White; mother, Elsie McCutchen White; sister, Donna White Chunn (Russell); and nephews, Matthew, Wesley and Austin Chunn.
Mr. White was a very generous and selfless person, who never met a stranger. He was an active member and past president of Priceville Civitan Club, and a member of Ninth street United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was a friend to all dogs in his neighborhood.
Serving as pallbearers will be Russell Chunn, David Hulsey, Rocky Bankester, Matthew Chunn, Wesley Chunn and Austin Chunn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Ninth Street UMC General Fund, 1227 6th Ave. SE, Decatur, AL 35601, or UAB Civitan International Research Center, C/O Priceville Civitan 2412 Murphree Rd. SE, Decatur, AL 35601.
