Funeral service for Mr. Thomas Luther Coble, age 94, will be held at 1 PM on Friday May 22, 2026, at First United Methodist Church in Trenton, TN with Ken Smith officiating. Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, TN. Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time on Friday May 22, 2026, at First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Coble, a retired insurance salesman, passed away on Monday May 18, 2026, at Charter Senior Living in Jackson, TN.
Mr. Coble served his country, community, and church in many ways during his lifetime. He was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard, an alderman for the City of Trenton, and a member of the Trenton Rotary Club and Lions Club. Mr. Coble was active with the youth of Trenton as a Little League baseball coach and served as vice president of the Peabody High School Band Boosters. He displayed his faith in God by serving on multiple committees at the Trenton First United Church.
Mr. Coble was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Richardson Coble; his parents, Harvel N. and Lena (Price) Coble; four sisters, Pauline Isabell, Ollie Pearl Morris, Ada Bell Swindle, Estelle Ross; and three brothers, Carlos, Samuel, and James Coble.
Mr. Coble is survived by two daughters, Debby Hall and husband Richard of Loudon, TN and Susan Moore and husband Russ of Tuscaloosa, AL; a son, Randy Coble and wife Sarena of Chelsea, AL; three grandchildren, Michelle McArthur, Justin Hall and wife Ashley, and Randi Cook and husband Chris; and nine great grandchildren, Andrew McArthur, Davis McArthur, Mason Hall, Elena Hall, Riley Hall, Declan Hall, Oakland Hall, Magnolia Hall, and Baylor Hall.
