Thomas Lowell Haney, age 76, of Florence, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, of Florence. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Frankie Miller Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Florence.
Pallbearers will be Trenton Anthony, Frankie Miller Jr., Blake Patterson, Jim Cottles and Billy Word.
Preceding him in death were his parents, T.F. and Ada Haney; daughter, Dawn Haney; brother, O’neal Haney; and stepson-in-law, David Patterson.
Survivors are his wife, Dean Haney; stepchildren, Eva Patterson, Rita Miller (Frankie), Zelda Hensley (Joseph) and Ricky Anthony (Peggy); siblings, Kathryn Haney Word (Billy), Connie Haney Catlett (Ray) and David Haney; 16 stepgrandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
