Thomas Lee Wadkins, age 55, of Cherokee, Alabama, passed away on August 30, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 8, 1971, to Herman Ray Wadkins and Loretta Ann St. John. Thomas was a truck driver for thirty years. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially fishing, listening to ’80s music, and drinking Dr. Pepper. Thomas was a caring and loving man who loved his family deeply. The time he shared with those closest to him meant the most, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Serena Wadkins; sons, Alex (Brittney) Wadkins and Hunter (Cheyenne) Wadkins; step-sons, Jacob (Jennifer) Thorn and Andrew (Kayla) Thorn; step-daughter, Jesika (John) Patrick; grandchildren, Brantley, Aidynn, and Cannon Wadkins, and Lili and Rosie Patrick; brothers, Brian Wadkins and Tim Wadkins; sisters, Sarah Sparks and Anna Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews, close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Wadkins; mother, Loretta St. John; and granddaughter, Magnolia Patrick. A celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Lion’s Den 174 Church St Cherokee, Alabama.
