Thomas Joseph Baltrusaitis, age 78 of Muscle Shoals, died Monday, October 3, 2016. His family will receive friends Thursday, 10-11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church with the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Father Michael Adams will officiate and burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Thomas was a native of Chicago, Ill and was a forty-five year resident of Alabama.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served with the 101st Airborne. He was a member of Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church; a 32nd degree Free Mason and was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber of Gadsden after thirty years of service.
Survivors include his sons; Thomas Baltrusaitis II, and Edward Baltrusaitis; daughters, Deborah Smith and Vivian Barkley; brother, Frank Baltrusaitis; sister, Frances Nelson; and nine grandchildren.
