Thomas Jesse Hughes, 47, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Born and raised in Huntsville, Tommy was a 1992 graduate of Huntsville High School and a graduate of Athens State University. He was the owner of Outdoor Expressions LLC.
Tommy was a loving son, husband and father who loved spending time with his family. He also loved coaching his children’s sports teams and playing drums and listening to music.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Veronica Branson Hughes; daughter, Natalie Hughes; son, Landon Hughes; parents, Barbara and Gerry Hughes; brother, Jimmy Hughes (Rebecca); nieces, Haley Hughes and Madison Miller; nephew, Morgan Miller; aunt, Celia Hughes, uncles, Pat Hughes (Siw) and Jeff Thomson; cousins, Jesse Hughes, Austin Hughes (Jewel), and Jessica Kendall (Steven). He was preceded in death by grandparents, Richard ‘Dick’ and Ruth Hughes; aunt, Suzanne Thomson; and uncle, Barry Shannon Hughes
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
