Mr. Thomas Jeffrey Lee, 48, passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on June 23, 2016 at North MS Medical Center. He was born July 12, 1967 in Tupelo, MS to James Thomas Lee and Mary Ann Hipps Lee. He was a 1986 graduate of Nettleton High School and worked many years in various types of manufacturing companies. He was patriotic, serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. Jeff married Marie Hamblin on June 24, 2005. He enjoyed fishing and horseback-riding, and he was an avid LSU fan. He was an active member of Cedar Grove United Pentecostal Church and loved his church family. He had a passion for jail ministry which he participated in during his younger adult life. His greatest joy was his family.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church with Bro. Danny Robbins and Bro. Ricky Pierce officiating. Private burial will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Mooreville. Visitation will be today (Saturday), at the church from 4 PM to 7 PM and Sunday from noon to service time. Survivors include his wife of eleven years, Marie Lee of Tupelo; one son, Grant Lee of Nettleton; stepson, Jonathan Denton (Tina) of Blue Springs; one daughter, Beth Neal (Vince) of Nettleton; step-daughter, Maria Deaton (Jeff) of Ingomar; two brothers, Terry James Lee (Kathy) of Mantachie and Tim Lee (Denise) of Saltillo; sister, Michelle Lee of Flowood; grandchildren, Brayden Neal, Chloe Beth Lee, Bella Kate Sullivan, Savana Deaton, Santana Deaton, and Cayle Denton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Lee, Perry Moore, Bro. Joe Coleman, Bro. Joe Putt, Troy Graham, Jr., and Jessie Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. Travis Mask and Rev. Vernon Schaffer.
