Thomas Jason Lewis, 46, resident of Senatobia, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Highland Hills Medical Center in Senatobia MS.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Jason will be at 1 PM Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Trinity Assembly of God Church with Bro. Clay Pritchett officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM Friday, February 2, 2024, and Saturday, February 3, 2024, beginning at 10 AM until service time at the Church. Burial will follow in the Ripley Cemetery.
Born March 9, 1977, in New Albany, Jason was the son of the late Jimmy Lewis and Carol Zeller Lewis. He received his education from Ripley High School and was a supervisor for Newly Weds Foods in Horn Lake, Mississippi.as long as his health permitted.
A Christian, Jason’s favorite pastimes included playing softball, watching Mississippi State and Pittsburgh Steelers football and riding his Harley-Davidson. Although Jason was only able to travel on one cruise, he immediately had a love for cruises. He loved his family, and he was a genuinely kind man. Jason never met a stranger, had a heart of gold and will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of four years, Wynde Lewis, three daughters, Anna Fowler (Bobby), Jacy Nance (Logan), and Hailie Lewis, four sisters, Tonya Rodgers (Kim), Tammy Bennett (Jeremy Ables), Susan Kipper (Gary), and Leigh-Ann Baggett, three brothers, Danny Lewis (Aleisha), Eric Turnbow, and Riley Ray, one grandson, Jaxon Fowler, a granddaughter on the way, Hazel Fowler, his step-mother, Bettye Lewis, his canine “grand dogs”, Faith (La-La) and Athena and his cat, Simba.
Jason is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Carol Zeller Lewis, his grandparents, Jettie and Jack Lewis, and a sister, Sonya Jones.
