Thomas Harold McBride, age 70 of Sheffield, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017. His visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a graduate from Sheffield where he excelled in basketball. He was a talented pianist, singer and songwriter. He was preceded in death by his parents Bennett Hurst and Flora Gowen McBride.
Thomas is survived by his brother, William Gordan McBride; sister, Sandra Payne; niece, Lisa Payne; nephew, Mac McBride; friend and former wife, Ann McBride.
