Thomas Gene “Tommy” McBride, 72, of Tuscumbia, passed away October 6, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, from 2 – 3 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, with the funeral service following. Interment will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Greg Beasley and Eddie Wix will be officiating.
Mr. McBride was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Betty McBride, as-well-as brother, Raymond McBride.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sandra Kay McBride; son, Chris McBride (Rene); sister, Dorothy Burden (Robert); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Tommy loved God and his family. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, taking pictures of family and friends, working in the yard and traveling. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nursing staff at Cypress Cove that cared for him during the last few months. We would personally like to also thank his sitters, Charlotte Morrow and Helen Allman for all your time you spent helping our loved one.
