Thomas F. Slinkard, 85 of Madison, AL passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025. He was born February 7, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, MO.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Shirley Slinkard. Together they built a strong and loving family rooted in faith and devotion. Tom proudly served in the US Army and then a career in Civil Service.
A devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather, Tom is survived by his sons, Greg Slinkard (Sandy) and Brian Slinkard (Cristi); and his grandchildren, Bennett Slinkard, Madeline Slinkard and Dustin Ebaugh.
Tom loved fishing, woodworking and anything Alabama football.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 25, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tom’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation.
