Funeral services for Mr. Thomas F. “Pete” Peterson, age 82, will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at the Salem Baptist Church in Trenton, TN with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM Tuesday at Shelton Funeral Home and from 10 AM until service time at the church on Wednesday.
Mr. Peterson passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Peterson was a retired employee of Brown Shoe Company, an avid singer and guitar player, loved to play dominos, and was a very Christian man.
Mr. Peterson was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Lottie Peterson; a brother, Willie Ray Peterson; a sister, Dorothy Peterson; and a great grandchild, Reece Hensley.
Mr. Peterson is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol E. Peterson; four children, Kimberly Peterson Reynolds and husband Randy, Jeff Peterson and wife Beth, Kim Persons and husband Corey, and Will Perry and wife Mary Carol; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
