Thomas Eugene Phillips, age 73, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away
peacefully surrounded by his family on March 26, 2024 at Huntsville
Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Kathie Combs Phillips; sons, Bryan (Desiree)
Phillips and Brent (Beth) Phillips; and daughter, Kim (Bradley) Wilhelm;
grandchildren, Drew (Lindsey) Phillips, Blake (Tia) Peacock, Riley Bennett,
Koleden Phillips, Ryder Phillips, and Estella Wilhelm; great grandchildren,
Greyson Peacock, Elaina Phillips, Olivia Phillips, and Tripp Peacock; sister;
Oma (Milton) Joiner; brother, Glenn (Donna) Phillips; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
Mr. Phillips is preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Alma
Phillips of Rosalie, Alabama; sisters, Margie Shankles, Rebecca Smith,
Erlene Sargent, Daris Wingo; and brothers, Franklin Phillips, Melvin
Phillips, and Milford Phillips.
In accordance with Mr. Phillips’ wishes, no formal visitation or funeral
services will be held. The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later
date.
