Thomas Eugene Krieger, Sr., 61, of Florence, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Officiating will be the Rev. Andrew Sullivan. Burial will follow in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Krieger was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Eleen Krieger; parents, Alexander August and Eva Gertrude Zierer Krieger; brother, Conrad Krieger.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Krieger; sons, Thomas E. Krieger, Jr. (Melisa) of Florence, Christopher L. Krieger (Megan) of Rogersville; step-sons, Chad Grisham (Shelley) of Sykesville, Maryland, Eric Grisham (Renea) of Clarksville, TN; daughters, Rebecca Davis and fiancé, Donnie Key of Lexington, Amanda Glasscock of Rogersville, Whitney Krieger of Florence; step-daughter, Leanne James of Austin, TX; brothers, Bill Krieger (Judy), Charles Krieger (Sandra), Richard Krieger (Brenda), Howard Krieger (Karen), and Edgar Krieger (Melissa) all of Florence; sisters, Jane Quigley of Iron City, TN, Rosemary Richins of California; grandchildren, T.J., Ashlee, and Kolton Krieger, Haileigh and Reagan Davis, Brailyn, Triston, Carter, and Rowyn Glasscock, Madie and Karlee Krieger, Ashlynn, Jacen, Jared, Chase, and Nikki Grisham; numerous nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be his nephews, Tyler Krieger, Kevin Krieger, Blair Krieger, Freeman Krieger, Frank Quigley, Jacob Krieger, and Joey Krieger.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fay Parker, John Parrish, school bus drivers and staff from Brooks Elementary and Brooks High Schools.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
