Mr. Thomas Elton Tidmore, age 79, of Union Grove the Morgan City area passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Tidmore was born on March 30, 1938 in Marshall County, Alabama to B.P. Tidmore and Merle Alice Smith Tidmore. He has lived in the Morgan City area for 56 years and was a 1957 graduate of Arab High School.
He enjoyed attending auctions, dancing, tinkering in his garage, trading and telling jokes.
Mr. Tidmore was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-laws; Tim & Pam Tidmore, Nickie & Frankie Tidmore; grandchildren, April Tidmore, Beth Tidmore, T.J. Tidmore, Tristan Tidmore & Tyler Tidmore; 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Dale Tidmore & his twin Welton Tidmore, sister, Alice Tidmore.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 24, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bryan Mosley, officiating. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include, Nickie Tidmore, TJ Tidmore, TJ Gray, Shawn Graham, Michael Carter, Nick Maddox.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. Saturday March 24, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
