Thomas Elbert Butler, 68, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014, at his residence . He was born July 6, 1945 to the late Garvin and Irene Beam Butler in Itawamba County. He retired from Mueller Brass after 26 of service. He was the past Master Mason of the Richmond Lodge 997. He enjoyed Mississippi State football, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 49 years Carolyn Butler of Fulton, Daughter, Amy (Kevin) Straver of Blue Mountain, MS, 3 Brothers, Henry (Wilhelmenia) Butler of Booneville, Dexter (Linda) Butler of Amory, and Alvie (Lanelle) Butler of the Eggville Community, 1 Brother in Law, John Hathcock of Amory, 2 Special Friends, Elisha and Destine Duckworth of Marietta, Several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garvin and Irene Butler, Grandson, Howie Murphy, 3 Brothers, Edgar Butler, William Butler, and W.G. Butler, 1 Sister, Lila Hathcock.
