Thomas Edward Atkins passed peacefully at his home on Monday, July 14, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Laura Rhys, Sam Atkins (Laura) and Matthew Atkins (Renae); five grandchildren, Jacob, Camille, and Cade Atkins and Ollie and Lu Rhys; his sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Mike Carter; and a devoted niece, Holly LaRocca.
A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 pm Friday, July 18, 2025 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church with a visitation and reception following the service.
In lieu of flowers, Tom requested donation to the St. Thomas Honduran Medical Mission, 12200 Bailey Cove Road, Huntsville, AL 35803 or the American Cancer Society.
