Mr. Thomas Earl Tucker, of Lacey’s Spring Alabama, passed away at his residence on October 10, 2022 at the age of 83.
Mr. Tucker was born on September 13, 1939 in Winfield Alabama to Shelton Tucker and Opal Pauline Rainey. Mr. Tucker was a U.S. Navy veteran and served on the USS Forrestal. After proudly serving his country, Mr. Tucker was employed by National Cash Register and would install and repair cash registers for many companies.
Mr. Tucker enjoyed restoring old cars and was an all around tinkerer. He enjoyed grilling out and watching Alabama football, but he loved going to watch his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his neighbors children play in their ballgames.
Mr. Tucker leaves behind to cherish memories son; Phillip Tucker and his wife Bridgette, daughter; Tisha Martin and her husband Michael, brother; Larry Tucker, grandchildren; Kayla Martin and Isabella Tucker and great-grandchildren; Bailee Howard, Zayden Martin, and Sophiana Houston.
Mr. Tucker’s family has elected cremation. A memorial service is planned for October 30, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Mr. Tucker’s residence. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Association and the Wounded Warriors Project.
