Thomas Daniel Adcock, 77, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at his home in Toney, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, February 19, 1936 in Huntsville, Alabama, he was the son of the late Thomas Marvin Adcock and the late Grace Aline Reece Adcock. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant children, Karen Adcock and Kevin Adcock; brother, Robert Adcock.
Surviving are wife, Lela Young Adcock, Toney, AL; daughter, Kristi Valls, Athens, AL; son-in-law, Robert Valls, Athens, AL; brother, Allen Adcock, Toney, AL; grandson, Kevin Valls, Athens, AL; step-granddaughter, Ashley Valls, Athens, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 24, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Tony Boyles, Bro. Cecil Norman, and Bro. Doug Colwell officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL. Pallbearers will be Robert Adcock, Jr., Jeff Adcock, Greg Adcock, Donny Young, II, Rusty Young, and Geoffrey Holt.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL.

Dear Lela Mae, so sorry to read of your husbands’ death – also sorry I
didn’t read my Shopper when it arrived, instead of waiting abt 3 wks.
Knew he wasn;t doing too well last time I saw you guys, must have been
very stressful for you over the years! It hurts so bad when we know our
loved ones are having problems. May God Bless you & give you the strength
to get passed this – Tom would want you to, I’m sure. Would love to hear
fm you if you ever have the time or feel up to it. Love, Carol
