Thomas Benton Richardson, Jr. “Junior” 80, of Florence, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at Florence Nursing and Rehab. He was retired from Humana Hospital where he worked as a custodian. Junior was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2026, from 12-1 p.m. at Woodlawn Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church building. Burial will be in the Old Macedonia Cemetery. Officiating will be Matt Heupel.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Richardson; father, Thomas Benton Richardson, Sr.; mother, Francis Richardson; and sister, Lynn Gooch.
He is survived by his sisters, Ruth Phillips (Bill) and Diane Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
