Mr. Thomas B. Hyde age 75 of Albertville passed away late Tuesday evening on May 3, 2022.
Thomas was born to the late Thomas Ranzy, and Nettie Lee Smith Hyde April 21, 1947, and is Preceded in Death by his Daughter Selena James
Thomas proudly served the call to duty of his country to Vietnam in the United States Army on August 3rd 1966 and left his service in 1968 as a Specialist with the Tech Support Company he was assigned to. He then continued to serve his country for an additional eight years as a stock clerk with the company’s Supply Specialist Group. He left Active Duty at Fort Carson, Colorado on May 30, 1974 after attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. While in service he became a Marksman with the M-16 Rifle, and an Expert Marksman with the M-14 Rifle. Recipient of The National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/3 Bronze Service Stars, Recipient of The Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry w/ Palm , The Army Commendation Medal, as well as his Sharpshooter badge.

Thomas is survived by Sons Dewayne, and Greg Hyde, Brother Jerry Hyde, Sisters Margaret Brooks, and Anita Sumners, along with 6 wonderful Grandchildren.

A Visitation for Mr. Hyde will take place in the Chapel at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home in Albertville on
Friday May 6, 2022
2pm-4pm
There will be no further services at this time.
