Sherry Kay Clark, 69, of Arab, Alabama, passed away on Monday evening, May 2, 2022, at Marshall Medical Center North.
Ms. Clark was born May 27, 1952 at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of James Edwin Rogers and Mitsuko Kishimoto. Ms. Clark earned her Associates Degree and prior to her retirement, worked as a civilian logistics specialist for the U.S. Army deploying to Texas, Korea, Germany, and Iraq. Sherry was a true globetrotter; she traveled all around the world to places including Kuwait, Thailand, Japan, Iceland, most European countries, and all 50 states before finally settling back in Arab, where she raised her family. She enjoyed traveling, music, singing, cooking, playing games, and making memories with family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Mitsuko Rogers; son, Michael J. Clark (Karissa); daughter, Jeri M. King (Josh); step-son, Chris Clark (Justine); step-daughter, Shea Barnett (Clint); brother, James Rogers (Toni); sisters, Brenda Camp (Dean), Betty McGinnis (Donnie), and four step grandchildren,
Ms. Clark was preceded in death by her father, James Edwin Rogers, and sister, Linda Gail Rogers.
