Thomas Aaron Harper, 77, of Florence, passed away February 18, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of the Machinist Local #65, served in the National Guard and retired from T.V.A. at Brown’s Ferry.
There will be a gathering of friends and family Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 2-3 p.m. in the parlor of Greenview Funeral Home.
Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Amos Harper; step-mother, Gracie Harper; sister, Yvonne Burns (J. M.); brother, Robert (Sam) Harper; and special friend, Christine Burns.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Harper Ivey (Keith) of Sanford, FL; sister, Margaret Looney (Buddy) of Childersburg, AL; brother, Doug Harper (Charlotte) of Florence; nieces, Connie Darby, and Dena Richardson; nephews, Jimmy Burns, and Macy Looney; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Harper.
