Third “No Kings” Rally Drew Hundreds Rallying Against Government Overreach

THE SHOALS-Saturday, March 28 nearly 300 people gathered in Wilson Park for the third No Kings Rally held this year.  This event was just one of hundreds that took place as part of the “No Kings” rallies being held across the nation and the world.

Protesting against injustice.  The movement, which began in 2025, is a sustained national resistance focused on opposing what organizers describe as “tyranny” and executive overreach. The messaging is centered on civil rights, free speech, and government accountability.

Organizers stated that this was one of the largest coordinated demonstrations in U.S. history, with over 3,100 events taking place globally to protest executive overreach.
