Thethus L. Lash, 93, of Rogersville went to be with her Lord Friday, July 29, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2016, 6-9 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Mrs. Lash will lie-in-state Monday, August 1, 2016, from 1-2 PM, with funeral service starting at 2 PM at Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Kenny Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Springfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Lash was a faithful member of Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 59 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her love for flowers was second to her family.
Mrs. Lash was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Lash; parents, Ernest and Ethel McGee; brothers, Floyd McGee, Millard McGee, and Gilbert McGee; sister, Marvis McGee Barnett.
Mrs. Lash is survived by three daughters, Ruth Davis (Bobby), Evone Harvey (Larry), and Dorinda Bennett (Jim); special daughter, Jerrie Hanback; two sons, Robert Lash (Carolyn) and Charles G. Lash (Joyce); ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
