Thermon H. McDonald age 94 of Winfield, AL passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at his residence.
Born September 25, 1928 in the Wayside Community, he is the Son of the late Leonard Curtis and Ellena Blankey McDonald, and the Husband of the late Betty Atkins McDonald. He had lived in the Wayside Community, Guin, and Winfield most of his life and retired from 3M Company. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army and was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his Daughter, Carolyn Sue McDonald of Winfield, AL, 3 Sisters, Virgie L. Housh and Gaynell Dunavant both of Winfield, AL and Ellena Sue Howell of Guin, AL.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, his Wife, Betty Lois Atkins McDonald, A Daughter, Marilyn Faye McDonald, 2 Sisters, Edna McDonald and Betty McPhail, 2 Brothers, Curtis and Edward McDonald and 2 infant Brothers.
Services held Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Guin with Bro. Paul Murphy and Bro. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Burial in the Guin City Cemetery.
