Theresa Louise Kinney Samples, 70, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025. She was a source of love, strength, and wisdom to all who knew her. She was a 1972 Butler High School graduate. She traveled to Waipahu, Hawaii, Neu Ulm, Germany, Ft. McLellan Anniston Alabama, and many other wonderful places around the world.
Theresa is survived by her devoted husband, Howard Samples Sr., who shared 51 years of companionship and love with her. She is also survived by her son, Howard Samples Jr., and his wife, Davie. Theresa’s legacy lives on through her granddaughter, Dreama T. Samples, who brought unending joy to her life.
Theresa will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. Though she may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
