Theodore Ralph Hurst, age 94 of Mt. Nebo TN, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013.

Grandchildren: Leah Phillips (Jason), Jacob Hurst (Lisa), Hannah Michael(BJ), Daniel Hurst (Missy), and Elizabeth Johnston (Brett)
Great- Grandchildren: Jackson Phillips, Sarah Grace Phillips, and Marshall Finn Michael
Mr. Hurst was preceded in death by his parents Marshall and Fleety Hurst; wife Beck Hurst; and granddaughter Susan Catlin Hurst.
Visitation will be Friday, December 20, 2013 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home with the funeral at 12:00pm. Bro .Mike Hamner will be officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be nephews & friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the Green boys.
PawPaw was a Veteran of World War ll, serving the Army in Africa, Italy, Germany & Anzio Beachhead. PawPaw & MawMaw were married for 66 years. His pride and joy were his children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time in his gardens, farming, watching his grandchildren in various activities, playing with his great-grandchildren & going to the St. Joseph Senior Center to play cards. PawPaw had a giving heart, always taking care of the widows and giving away fruit and vegetables from his gardens.
