Thelma Webb Dillard, 95, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the residence of her daughter Emma Dillard Burch of Muscle Shoals.
Mrs. Dillard was born on September 23, 1918, to Andrew Jackson Webb and Hattie Roden Webb in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a faithful member of the 9th Avenue Church of Christ of Haleyville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014, from 2-3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 3pm. Ricky McCreless will officiate. Burial will be in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Dillard is survived by her sons, Charles Dillard Jr., Robert (Paulette) Dillard; daughters, Linda (Lloyd) Haddock, Emma Burch, Betty (William) Fortenberry. She was “Mama Dillard” to five grandchildren, Connie Dawson, Judy Hannah, Barry Burch, Robert Scott Dillard, Emily Suzanne Dillard; four great-grandchildren, Nichols Ryan Dawson, Olivia Rainey Dawson, Ashley Morgan Hannah, Adam Taylor Hannah; two great-great grandchildren, Anna-Claire Wilson and Henry Burch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rainey Dillard, Sr. and son-in-law, Charles L. Burch.
