Thelma Louise Smith Harrison, 90, Russellville, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Shoals Hospital.
Mrs. Harrison loved being outside and working in her flowers. She sold Avon for many years, and was tops in sales several times. She was kind and caring to everyone she met, and will be missed by all who knew her.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Shane McGregor and Bro. Ed Brand will officiate at the service. Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Smith (wife, Darlotte); daughters, Martha Uptain, Marilyn Malone (husband, Jimmy), Joan Dunlap (husband, Ted); grandchildren, Darla Smith, Courtney Smith, Thelon Uptain, John Uptain, Joel Uptain, Roy Uptain, Jamie Malone, Jason Malone, Jeremy Dunlap, Justin Dunlap; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Madeline Hicks; and host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Brice Smith; 2nd husband, Walter Harrison; parents, Robert & Cora Mayfield; 3 sisters, and 5 brothers.
The pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
