Thelma L. “Terry” Wylie, age 77, of Florence, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Elkins Funeral Home Saturday, November 10th beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by a brief memorial service at 12:00 noon.
Ms. Wylie was born in Springfield, Illinois but was raised in Mishawauka, Indiana before moving to Florence in 1960. She was a very caring person and enjoyed helping others.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Victoria Wilson and her sisters Frances Garcia and Juanita Siri.
She is survived by sons David K. Wylie and Daniel K. Wylie of Florence; daughters, Kim D. Sipple (Dean) of Euharlee, Georgia, and Kelley D. Wright (Jim) of Florence; grandchildren Stephen M. Gladden of Laguna Niguel, California, Matthew D. Wylie (Patricia) of Lebanon, Indiana, Jameson A. Wright and Victoria E. Wright of Florence; great-granddaughters Ava Rose Wylie of Frankfort, Indiana and Brooklyn Wylie of Lebanon, Indiana; sisters Connie Wilson and Cecelia Schmucker, both of Mishawaka, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
