Thelma Elizabeth Staggs, age 70, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, and of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Isabell Hodge Rodgers; one son, Macon Lee Clark; and one great-grandson, Jayden Brown.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas F. Clark (Frances) of Archbold, OH and Richard S. Clark (Connie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter-in-law, Linda Clark of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, John Thomas Rodgers of Toledo, OH; thirteen grandchildren, Rachel, David, Cecilia, Kayla, Cassandra, Brandon, Tequella, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn, Thomas, Jr., Belle, Bervia, and Harley; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
