Thelma was born in Pisgah, TN on November 25, 1926 to Finley and Ruby Britton Turner. She was a homemaker by nature whose greatest love was spending time with her family; however, she enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, cross stitching, quilting, doing word searches, and was a member of Richland Baptist Church. Thelma is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years Eugene Jones, Sr.; son James Eugene Jones, Jr.; granddaughter Alyssa Jones; 3 brothers; 3 sisters.
Family requests that no flowers be sent but Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Monday March 17, 2025 with Funeral Services following at 2pm at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lynnwood Cemetery.
Thelma is survived by her sons Harlan Jones (Judy) of Columbia, Bobby Joe Jones (Joy) of Columbia, Danny Ray Jones (Debbie) of Lynnville, Ronnie Jones (Lynn) of Lynnville, Barry Jones (Carroll) of Lynnville, David Jones (Patty) of Columbia; daughter Elaine Rummage (Ray) of Culleoka; 3 sisters; 1 sister in law; 19 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
