Thelma Ann Reid, age 76, of Hamilton, AL passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her sister’s residence in Tupelo. She was born in Marion County, Alabama on Wednesday, March 26, 1941 to Murry Rainwater and Ida Mae Taylor Rainwater. Visitation is Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 12- 2 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home, services will follow at 2 p.m. Bro. Ric Chambless officiating with burial in Spring Hill Baptist Cemetery in Fayette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bodie” Reid; son, Stephen Harkness; parents, Murry and Ida Mae Rainwater; sibling, Thurman Rainwater, Murry Hollis Rainwater, John Wiley Rainwater, Travis Rainwater. She leaves to cherish her memory, grandson, Jeremy Harkness; siblings, Edral Goodwin, Kenneth Rainwater (wife, Linda),Pearline May, Murry C. Rainwater Jr.; step-children, Teresa Shewbart, Barry Reid; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
