Theda Jones Griffin, age 90, of Florence, Ala., passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at El Reposo Nursing Facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Lawrence County, Tenn., a hair dresser and a member of Faith Church in Florence, Ala. Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. with Brother Tommy James officiating. Burial will follow in Restview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013, At Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Survivors are son, Byron Jones and wife, Faye, Florence, Ala.; four grandchildren, Candi Haggard and husband, Eric, John Jones, Jennifer Spurgeon and husband, George, Kerri Oliver and husband, Travis;
five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
first husband, Marvin L. Jones;
second husband, Butch Griffin;
son, Monte Jones. Loretto Memorial Chapel
is in charge of all arrangements.
