The Rustic Willow Celebrates New Owners of Ribbon Cutting in Ardmore

ARDMORE – The Greater Ardmore Chamber joined chamber board members and leaders from Alabama and Tennessee, along with The Rustic Willow employees, to celebrate the new ownership of The Rustic Willow at 29930 Ardmore Avenue in Ardmore.

JoBeth Smith opened The Rustic Willow in April 2017 in the downtown area of Ardmore, Alabama.  JoBeth started her business with 10 vendors.  In January 2021, JoBeth moved The Rustic Willow to the L&S Market building with over 50 vendors.

Today, July 13, 2026, the community is celebrating the passing of the torch to Daniel and Amy Bates with a ribbon cutting.  Daniel and Amy took ownership of the Rustic Willow on July 1, 2026.  Amy is a retired schoolteacher, and her and Daniel live in the Reid community in Limestone County.  Amy’s sister, Pennie Davis, is an Elkmont resident and is also retired from the public education and will be the store manager for The Rustic Willow.  Amy and Pennie are very familiar with The Rustic Willow’s vendors and customers.  Both have worked with JoBeth for several years and have had their own booth at the store.

Amy stated that when she opened a booth at The Rustic Willow 3 years ago, she fell in love with the business, the community and the customers and feels it an honor to be the new owners of the Rustic Willow. This is their first storefront, and the Ardmore community has loved and supported the store over the years, and they knew that is where they wanted to stay – they love this little town and the atmosphere.

Greater Ardmore Chamber Director, Yolandia Eubanks, is thankful for the leadership JoBeth Smith has offered to future business owners and feels that Daniel and Amy Bates and Pennie Davis will continue supporting the local small business owners.  She appreciates Daniel and Amy investing in our community and looks forward to seeing what the future holds for them and The Rustic Willow.

The Rustic Willow can be described as a store specializing in refurbished furniture, unique collectables, gifts, and home decor.  They also have a variety of clothing, jewelry, accessories, and personal care items.  What is most unique about The Rustic Willow is that you can come in and find such a variety of items for yourself and others. Items are constantly changing, and it is a wonderful experience searching for the perfect “find.”
