THE SHOALS – The week of March 12, 2012 ends tonight , The Quad-Cities Daily will have once again set a new readership record. The ‘newspaper of the internet’ site officially signed on in January, 2012 with hard news stories, features, and other Shoals vital information such as free obituaries and birth notices.

The news site is  owned and operated by Steve and Sheri Wiggins, and enjoys a diverse mixture of feature writers and other contributors. “We would like to thank everyone in The Shoals for their support,” said Steve Wiggins. “We continue to build our readership every week.”

The Quad-Cities Daily is rapidly becoming the most cost-effective advertising medium in The Shoals. “The TimesDaily and Courier-Journal are great papers, “Wiggins said, “but they can’t give their readers one of the most important features of the Internet Age, namely, the ability of a reader to click on a display advertisement, and go directly to the business’s web site or facebook page.” The Quad-Cities Daily can deliver the lowest Cost-Per-Thousand ad rates. “There’s really no comparison. We deliver a CPM of under $4.00. That’s unheard of in this Market,” he explained.
