The Great Southeast Pollinator Census A Big Success

MUSCLE SHOALS-TVA and the Alabama Cooperative Extension hosted a Great Southeast Pollinator Census event in north Alabama as part of a multi-state effort to raise awareness about the importance of pollinators. The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a community science project that’s designed for everyone to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation.

Visitors will learn about the pollinators on TVA sites and collect data on the insects they see.

Representatives from TVA’s Environmental Resource Stewardship Team were there to guide the data collection process and answer any questions. The Quad Cities Daily tagged along to capture the event in photos.  We present them to you here:
