FLORENCE-Come one come all! Have some family fun on Saturday, October 23rd at the Howl-O-Ween Dash in McFarland Park, Florence! For all of our Pet Parents who like to dress up their furbabies, there will be a Pet Costume Contest & Awards; there will also be games for the children, pumpkin painting and refreshments – these activities begin at 10am. The Dash also presents a 5k and 1 mile Fun Run – registration for the race is $25 and includes a T-Shirt. The race is being managed and timed by Solid Rock Running Company. If you’d prefer to register for the race online, go to the Howl-O-Ween Facebook Page. The 5k race will begin at 8:30 am, the 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 9:30am. All other activities in McFarland Park will begin at 10am and all proceeds benefit the Florence Lauderdale Animal Shelter!
The Florence Lauderdale Animal Shelter is overflowing with animals and they need help from the Community to foster or adopt these dogs and cats – the situation is urgent! Please visit the Shelter at 3240 Roberson Road in the Florence Industrial Park and walk through to find your new best friend.
