FLORENCE-The newly renovated, updated and “farm friendly” Court Street Market held a grand renewing… The Farm Stand Day on Friday, May 22nd and it was a hit.
Several farms were there from Top of the World, Cottonwood Farms, Bonnie Blue Farms, Harvest Root Farms and many more were present selling their wares. Buddy’s Tomatoes and gourmet ice cream pops as well as other vendors were also on hand.
Music was provided by Mary Katherine Murphy which was beautiful as always. There was tastings of roasted free range chicken, cheeses from Waynesboro, Tennessee and many other fun events.
Proprietor of Court Street Market, Carmen Macias Erdmann was elated and said she could not wait for this to be an everyday event. She is expecting to add to the venue with a cafe, The Woodpecker Cafe and fresh roasted coffee served at the coffee bar by Lyons.
