TUSCUMBIA-The Alpha Mu Lambda Fraternity from University of North Alabama will partner with the Hall of Fame by kicking off the event with an African Drum Circle.
Sherri St. John from Kicks 96 will be on hand to emcee the event. The program will feature drummers: Roger Clark, Milton Sledge, Owen Hale, Mickey Buckins, Jerry Carrigan, Mark Beckett and Be-Bop Evans, who have drummed for some of the biggest names in the Music Industry. They will discuss their careers, answer questions from the audience and have an 
impromptu jam.
We will have Mike Chapman and NC Thurman to join in the jam as well. Autographed drumsticks will be available in the gift shop.
The cost for the event is $10.00. Everyone will receive a souvenir program featuring bios of some the top drummers in the music industry and can enjoy a tour of the museum to see the new display honoring Alabama drummers.
Be sure and bring your shakers and tambourines to join the percussion/drum jam to top off the event!
