TUSCUMBIA-The Alabama Music Hall of Fame will be extending their summer hours to help accommodate traveling music lovers by being open 7 days a week during the summer months. Their new operating hours will be Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday noon to 4pm starting Sunday June 13th and continuing through August 29th.

Located in Tuscumbia, Alabama, The Alabama Music Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring all styles of music and the preservation and celebration of Alabama’s musicians and the state’s great musical heritage.

“With the world opening back up and everyone traveling again we hope our new summer hours will help give people more flexibility in their schedule,” said Sandra Burroughs, director of the hall of fame. “Along with our new hours, we will be offering private guided tours for those who want a deeper understanding of Alabama music history. A lot of people are traveling in their RVs and their pets which is perfect because we have such a large parking lot and are pet friendly!” With the world reopening group tours are available at a discounted rate.

Also beginning June 13th, the museum admission prices will be as follows: Adults $12.00, Seniors (55+) $10.00, Students (13-18) $8.00, Children (6-12) $6.00 and Children under 5 are free. Private tours can be booked by calling 256-381-4417.
