SHEFFIELD– Colbert County Tourism is excited to shine a spotlight on the upcoming 6th Annual Northwest Alabama Farm Toy Show, happening on February 9th and 10th, 2024, at the Clarion Inn in Sheffield.

Get ready for a weekend of agricultural excitement as the Farm Toy Show kicks off on Friday, February 9th, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by an all-day event on Saturday, February 10th, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The Clarion Inn will be transformed into a haven for farm toy enthusiasts, offering a unique and diverse collection ranging from 1/64th scale to pedal tractors, trucks, and more.

“I would like to invite everyone to come to the toy show, even if you are not looking to buy a replica farm toy. We will also have farm displays and remote-control farm toy demonstrations. There are very few farm toy shows in the southeast, and this one has turned into one of the biggest! We would love to see you there!” said Josh Aycock, event organizer.

Admission is $3.00 for adults, with children 12 and under enjoying free entry. Last year’s event drew over 1,000 attendees, and this year promises to surpass that number, making it a must-attend for both residents and visitors.

In addition to the extensive array of farm toys available for purchase, the Farm Toy Show will feature captivating farm displays and remote-control demonstrations. It’s an opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the rich history of agriculture and witness the latest advancements in remote control technology.

This year’s Farm Toy Show isn’t just about toys; it’s about giving back to the community. The event proudly supports the Deshler High School FFA, contributing to the development of future leaders in agriculture.

With vendors coming from several different states, the Farm Toy Show is not only a local highlight but also an excellent event for tourism in Colbert County. “This spectacular event continues to grow year after year, attracting more people to our county. While they’re here, many visitors explore local attractions and dine in local restaurants. In addition to the room nights generated, the economic impact is wonderful for our small towns, especially this time of year,” said Susann Hamlin, President and CEO of Colbert County Tourism.

Colbert County Tourism extends a warm invitation to everyone to join in the festivities. For more information about the 6th Annual Northwest Alabama Farm Toy Show, please contact 256-320-7490.
