WINFIELD-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a tractor-trailer accident that has taken the life of a Texas man:
“A single-vehicle crash at approximately 3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, has claim the life of an Odessa, Texas man.
Lance R. Detweiler, 41, was fatally injured when the 2022 Kenworth tractor-trailer that he was driving left the roadway and struck several trees. Detweiler was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Interstate 22 near the 26 mile marker, approximately four miles north of Winfield, in Marion County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
