Tex Houston Sparks, age 77, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fayette County. Stan Mills will officiate.
Mr. Sparks was preceded in death by his Father-Samuel Sparks; Mother-Ollie Rutledge Sparks; Brothers-Thomas Sparks and Vaughn Sparks; Wife-Linda Tidwell Sparks.
He is survived by his Daughter-Karen Sparks; Son-Paul Richard Sparks; Grandchildren-Kassidy Kiker, Dakota Kiker, Austin Sparks and Katie Sparks.
