Funeral service for Tessie Mae Ivey Brock, 95, will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Holt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brock died on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Cullman Health Care Center. She was born May 1, 1919, in Winston County to Young Marion Ivey, Jr. and Louise Delaney McCullar Ivey. She was a lifelong Baptist and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Brock was an avid gardner, loved to do hand quilting and knitting. She and her husband owned and operated Brock’s Country Store. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ben Brock, two daughters: Katie Ladd and Bonnie Brock and a son: Kenneth Brock.
