Pastor Terry Wayne Martin, age 78, at rest October 3, 2014. Beloved husband for 62 years of Jimmie N. Martin (nee Hollin); Dearly loved father of Cathie Wheeler, and Marsha (Charles) Foshee; Cherished grandfather of Victoria (Andre’) Nguyen, Allen Foshee, Kyle Wheeler, and Katelin Wheeler; great-grandfather of Kaylie, Evan, and Anna Grace Nguyen; Also survived by his beloved adopted family Rosie, J.D., C.J., and Melissa; Loving brother of Garmila Edgar, Waymon Barbara, Ralph Martin, Bonah Wood, Hugh Martin, Cornitha Andrews, Retha Fanning, and the late Robert Martin, the late Christine Parsons, and the late Harley Martin; Dear uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Retired 30 year employee of General Motors BOC Division (Fisher Body), and Pastor of Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Hickory Hills for 45 years. Pastor Terry will be remembered by his beloved family and friends for being a wonderful giving man, a devoted husband, great father and loving family man, and a faithful Pastor. He had great love for children and would always help anyone in need. His life touched the hearts of many and will be forever missed by all.
