Terry Wayne Lewis, 63, passed away on Dec. 19, 2017. A memorial service was held Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017. The service was conducted by his brother Larry Lewis and cousin John Hovater.
Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Lewis; grandparents, Claude and Clarice Lewis and William and Willie Mae Beckwith; and nephew, Joshua Lewis.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Lewis; son, Cody Lewis; brothers, Jerry (Glenda) and Larry (Jeana); and many nieces and nephews.
Terry was a member of the Valdosta Baptist Church. He graduated from Deshler High School in 1972 where he was a player on the Tiger football team. He was a coach for the Valdosta Green Wave football team with his father and brothers. Terry was a giving friend to all who knew him.
